Could it be.

Very observant, Silverman.

Goldman's crew deserves more rep, they seem to be a solid team. :P

How clever!

Such an ingenious battle strategy. All he has to do is *not* fight and then he wins by default.

Clearly, only a genius could have created this battle strategy!

So Silverman's power is figuring out people's tactics; and Goldman's power is figuring out the chance of victory. They've also got Wurm for intel, and the lawyer guy for actually using his brain. That makes a pretty good team. Dunno what the bored woman's role is in it; perhaps she's there for emergencies which is why she's so bored usually.

Now that has to be insulting to your ego.

22642: Darius Drake - Saturday, July 11 2020 - 4:30 AM

Aw, the two times Burk seemed to attack but ended up making Goldman run or defend himself didn't fool everyone for the entire match. That's a shame.

...though we can now assume that Silverman is likely the most intelligent member of Goldman's crew, and either equally, or more, competent than Goldman himself, if more limited.

@someone, 22640

The woman is known as "Sylva", PR and Marketing. See
http://www.neorice.com/hoh_burk_1447 for all the team roles.

How is Burk winning though? Nobody landed a clean hit and I dont think Burk can win audience vote just by flexing and dodging.

Hitting Goldman even just once would count as beating him up, right?

22645: K - Saturday, July 11 2020 - 8:31 AM

@Skimmer Maybe the emergency escape counts as a point to burk, you know, due to the bleeding?

22647: Tor - Saturday, July 11 2020 - 10:32 AM

Burk was winning because if noone scored a clean hit, the winner would be the one that either the audience liked the most, or the audience disliked the least.

22649: Brilliand - Saturday, July 11 2020 - 10:56 AM

@skimmer I favor the argument made previously that Goldman is sufficiently disliked that anyone remotely credible who *isn't* disliked will win the audience vote from him.

22650: James brokanon - Saturday, July 11 2020 - 11:35 AM

@skimmer @k burk has been in control the whole fight, Goldman has been reacting to burk the whole time, so where as hitting hasn't taken place burk would be considered the winner if the fight ended right now

22651: SilentWrangler - Saturday, July 11 2020 - 2:09 PM

Damn you, Deliverance! Why must you give a link that reminds me that I forgot to gloat because I TOTALLY CALLED WHAT GOLDMAN'S POWER IS!

22653: Sporf - Sunday, July 12 2020 - 1:34 AM

In addition to Goldman likely not being well liked, Burke has been showboating and and being stylish with his dodges(remember the T pose a few pages back) All that will likely earn him some audience votes aas well.

22654: UnknownID - Sunday, July 12 2020 - 3:18 AM

Oh no Silverman! Don't spoil Burk's plan! That is not fair! o.o

Well, it's there own fault. He might have been able to really fight if they just would have let him talk to Pablo.

22655: Whispers of Sorrow - Sunday, July 12 2020 - 4:25 AM

@skimmer: Leaving aside the popularity thing, the Goldchap did actually hurt himself with his own magic whilst dodging at one point, that may count as an own goal.
