Curious that Maria is so surprised the Ghoul made it into the maze. What made her think they wouldn't be able to get into it?
Maybe just assumed that the ghoul died and they wouldn't have to worry about it for the rest of the game only for Xzalclock to get an ability to revive quickly and close to their objective?

I guess Maria's bosses are ghouls. And she had specific instructions to kill infinite.
The question is: Can Shalhia's esper ability tackle the infinite's instance?
