Nightshade.

Nightshade v.s. Melphred Dolk.

Who would win in an anything goes slugout?

43157: Tom - Tuesday, August 13 2024 - 5:40 PM

Ooooh, is Nightshade on Burk's side?

43158: noname - Wednesday, August 14 2024 - 1:13 AM

Hmm... But Nightshade has already sown some distrust for the CEOs among the heroes gathered here... I guess we'll just have to wait and see where their loyalties truly lie...

43159: Silver - Wednesday, August 14 2024 - 2:40 AM

Oooh, Nightshade moving towards Skystrooke. Someone's about to activate the seed.

Also the Temptress seems to be having some thoughts...

43160: Potato - Wednesday, August 14 2024 - 2:46 AM

I think Nightshade is going to use the seed that Skystroke swallowed earlier today to save burk.

43161: Brilliand - Wednesday, August 14 2024 - 11:10 AM

...I'm pretty sure Dolk has some hidden advantage that would let him beat Nightshade. But Nightshade would win based on what's been shown so far.

43162: Eight - Wednesday, August 14 2024 - 11:11 AM

"Fine, fine..." Well, that should be obvious now.

43163: Silver - Wednesday, August 14 2024 - 11:36 AM

Scratch what I said. Why activate the seed when you can threaten to activate the seed instead?

43164: Kardwill - Wednesday, August 14 2024 - 2:15 PM

3 Heroes are looking at the building instead of nightshade and Herohunter. The same direction the blue robes hero walked.toward, and never came back from...

43165: que - Wednesday, August 14 2024 - 4:17 PM

maybe the hero that walked off is about to be one of those bonus story characters

seems like a step up from potentially being murdered in a bizarre way

@noname, remember that all of these heroes (excluding Logan, and those already in the city) were hand-picked for the drop by the executives (pg 3892), who knew that destruction of the contracts was on the table. A few of them may be harboring some hidden disloyalty, but they were probably partly chosen to be unlikely to defect.
