Y'know, I just realized something. What if she's not actually bluffing, and she was able to salvage a good deal of the contracts after fighting off our unfortunate spirit friend?

I feel like the painting has to be factoring in.

Good job Hero Hunter, now all the criminals know the Executives have no extra leverage over them.
43146: Sloss - Tuesday, August 13 2024 - 5:06 AM
Yup, we need a deus ex machina
43148: Zed - Tuesday, August 13 2024 - 6:42 AM
Yeah, Hero hunter gave out too much info in that statement.
He could have simply said that approaching Evyle doesn't actually cost you your powers, and that Nightshade's claim is inaccurate. Instead, he revealed the contracts that did exist are now null and void.

43151: Zivix - Tuesday, August 13 2024 - 10:44 AM
Oh good, I was beginning to think Burk didn't have any limits.

The fun thing is that it's a catch-22. Either she does still have contracts, or they're no longer contracted heroes...
43153: Silver - Tuesday, August 13 2024 - 2:33 PM
Yeah I agree that some people who don't want to be there just got informed of their way out. Such a shame after all that hard work Tom from Tom RPG did...
43154: yee - Tuesday, August 13 2024 - 3:20 PM
Hmm, hammerman and cowboyman do seem like unhinged criminals. looking forward to which heros will drop the act. :D
43155: LOCKTYDE - Tuesday, August 13 2024 - 7:21 PM
It has been raining on Burk and Evyle for a few pages now. Wonder if Logan will swoop in to save the day.

Yeah, Fighting with a painting on his back can't be good for his mobility.
