Aristocrat v.s. Pirate.

Well that went about as well as anyone expected.

She's one of the most wanted criminals in the world. The first we see of her, she's flying a metal boat.
He's a rich idiot that relies on his magic punch. I doubt he actually has any sort of combat skill.
I somewhat doubt he even knows how to use a sword properly, he left himself wide open with that thrust. He acts tough but that's purely ego.
Never stood a chance really.

I guess it wasn't enough of an edge.

@Bisected - You have to admit she has a point.

The Aristocrat actually did better than what I expected. He got a few swings in and had her dodge a couple of times before she took him out. Sure, it was basically her humouring him, but still.

I don't think anyone expected that to work

13807: Kiithnaras - Saturday, August 12 2017 - 9:19 AM

To be honest, that went better than I expected.

I expected him to be crushed by girders.

Since she's holding the sword, does that mean Burk can safely extract Pablo from his imminent demise?

13809: Neoriceisgood - Saturday, August 12 2017 - 4:14 PM

@Candor Zofain

Gold doesn't disable magic entirely, it just isn't affected by magic itself.

"He's not the Hero the readers want, but he's the Hero the readers deserve."

So, we deserve a hero that's self-absorbed, delusional, and incapable of heroing, eh?
