Yay, page 800 reached!
For the Judge to have such a trap... yeah, I guess the Mage King doesn't want anyone to get a hold of that power.
Ariara's magic hand got bigger, but can it deal with huge magic explosions?
even if by some impossible miracle she survives she will be extremely weak prob and rip for the piking by anyone who is still standing
duuuude how stronge IS the mage baron to make that possible for the jugde O_o
This has turned out pretty well for the judge! Moe and Ariara are both out for the count, and the General is still fine.
Ariara better be out of energy if she stops this attack. It's hard to believe she's able to fight on much longer with all the beatings she's taken so far.
Nobody said it? OK, I guess I'll go first.
But seriously, I get the feeling both of them are coming out of this fight alive...
To her credit, she's decided to concede and give him a big hand.
You mean the Mage King. The Mage Baron is just a gold guy at this point.
And this, kids, is why you don't punch glowing balls of light.
I find myself wondering, why did she not throw The Judge at it? Ablative armour is always a good thing! Well, I guess it could be an empowerment ray or something but that seems unlikely as most instances of overpowered amulet of doom removal occur postmortem...
Also, while I appreciate the idea of removing people who can acquire an amulet, the whole "purge the area" effect lends considerable credence to the idea that the amulet can, in fact, be used by enemies...
Still Ariara pretty much sealed her fate when she decided to take over. A newly-introduced character changing "the plan" to take over the place instead of just escaping? Has that ever once resulted in survival in the entire history of fictional media? And I kind of like Ariara too : (
Finally, in before the mage-king's only ability is making magic items...
Um, what's the area of effect on that spell?
Is this the end of the arc ?
Because it looks that way with all the light and epic landscape encompassing shots
I would be highly amused if the goal of "heavenly judgement" is simply to destroy the amulet and nothing else.
Also, because I can:
Here Lies Archibald Iman
"The Iron Judge"
He was the LAW.
Funny how even when her hand gets much bigger, Neorice still draws it with only 4 fingers.
Good attention to (non-spelling) details, as always.
Is she gonna end up like Vegeta, getting blasted sky high only to somehow survive WITH her hair intact? In which case this would make more sense 'cause of magic shielding.
