Fight! Fight! Fight!
He baton the wrong horse.
Oh God, he's still able to do his tricks even when he's gone berserk.
You beautiful bastard, you.
Time for Diplomatic Weapons!
damn, i just love this comic. OOTS used to be my favourite one, but with the useless "art upgrade", the story going way too slow and updates taking forever i just lost interest.
SO this one is now my favourite. Thanks Neorice.
Thanks a lot, Burkfan!
As a reader and fan of OOTS I'll have to say that it's in a way a honor to hear someone ranks me above it, as I do know it's one of the bigger narrative-driven webcomics out there.
I can understand Rich Burlew wanting to upgrade his art, for the readers who pay attention you might've noticed that every 3-4 chapters or so I try to improve the quality of my art incrementally; Though I do realise one thing readers value most is update speed to follow the story, so I try never to implement upgrades that would significantly impact my ability to do pages quickly.
I hope you continue enjoying my comic!
What I like about the burk branch right now is that in the earlier parts of his story, the townfolk, and the enemies, were simple and predictable, and burk was by comparison a totally chaotic force of nature. But now in this castle scene it's like, there is a perfect storm of coups and counter coups and all kind of crazy heroes and villains coming out of the woodwork and being created, and now Burk is kind of the most predictable one. But I'm sure Burk hasn't noticed any difference.
Wait, Lacey is male? I thought he was female.
I thought that too... I guess he's male.
To be fair the art upgrade of OotS is not the reason for the lengthy periods between updates. The reason is some health related issue (from my understanding at least) that Rich won't discuss and asks forum members not to speculate on.
All that being said, the update schedule and all the bonus updates make this a top for me as well.
