Equally gross to getting dissolved? You be the judge.
Welcome to the real world. Noah.
Noah having worst nightmare in existence confirmed.
This is really well done, and if I am correct in my assertion, I really enjoy the manifestation and functional process of Noah's "ability."
Well now we know Noah's choice of OS...
Home was nice while it lasted. There's no place like it :(
The blood raining from the ceiling takes me back to Resident Evil and such o_O
@Neorice - If this is Noa's power manifested in a different way, I'm really liking it :D
the implacations of this are beyond me but that must hurt less then the thorn bind of the elf at least
I'd say the pain is around equal.
Who am I to judge though?
Aaand we hit the "WTF is going on" moment!
Also, just noticed: if you look closely, the one speaking is Noah's shadow! (Or at least something that looks like it)
That actually only raises more questions.
I'm guessing this is what happened:
Noah teleported out of the vine trap thing, but was still severely injured. This has prompted whatever is giving him his powers to grant an extra ability to him; the ability to teleport his soul into a new body. Aka, a new "home". He probably won't get back to his new body until it's healed somehow, either through sheer luck in someone finding him and taking him to a hospital, or his body just going there on autopilot even without a soul.
Since Noah is still feeling pain, and the world around him is melting blood as time passes, would this 'world' be his (sub)conscious? Meaning his physical body is still in the constricting thorns, while the train is the manifestation of his 'magic power' within his psyche that he uses to escape?
@Psion: That sounds highly probable. I think this is sort of a "dimension-between-dimensions", though, something linking various places together, and linked to each. But I do agree that Noah probably isn't physically in the "subway".
That is my general theory as well, though the proper term in this case would be "unconscious."
There are some interesting things to point out.
Who is Noah talking to?
Does "home" refer to the train and station, or does it refer to something else? ;~)
~Oh how I love reading speculation.
It's probably my favorite thing to see in the comments.
Just started this comic again since the last time I touched this beautiful baby was when ya announced the hiatus a year or 3 ago.
It's nice to see how ya have changed it up since!
On a different note, I couldn't find anything what I'm about to say in the forums or the F.A.Q
there anyway to reread the old path to greater good?
VIII Strength: If you look closely, Noah seems to ne speaking to a shadow version of himself.
However, last time he fell asleep, there were two figures speaking at the same time, while now there is only one...

here the index http://neorice.com/aptgg/
I still love the old comic btw xD
Well the only Thing missing now would be if there was a Long nosed creepy Butler inside greeting him with the words "Welcome to the Velvet Train" *g*
thanks a bunch!
were you able to navigate around this site and find those links somewhere? Or just some little hidden gem?
It's a hidden gem. I decided to keep it up as I'm sure some old fans would still wanna look it over, but I don't have it openly available on the main site.
I concur. The shadows likely represent an aspect of himself that is unfettered by the Barrier of Repression; little representatives from his unconscious mind that are fully aware of the functions of his "ability."
Also I agree with you in that this is likely some sort of way station.
Who knows what kind of eternal punishment over some innocent sin might occur in the Red Forest.
