Something went wrong when you scaled up the burk sprites! In panel 2,4 and 5 some pixels are not correctly aligned!

Technically, BurkBro (Brork? No that's terrible) isn't Chekhov's Gunman, he's just normal foreshadowing. The difference is that Burok (stop trying goblin) hasn't been shown yet, he's been referenced. Chekhov's Gun needs to have the gun in the room.
