Not sweet ...
Well, they're in the right place for it, as long as they don't find the arena is fully booked.
Is Burk trying to work out how he's going to fight without using his arms, or how he's going to explain the fight to Pablo?
I guess, despite his previous obedience to the letter of Pablo's instructions, he wasn't trying too hard to prevent this option being taken or he would have said more than "I'd rather". Maybe Burk is interpreting Pablo's instructions as not applying if the other side (especially if a hero) coerces him.
Either way, this isn't going to help Burk remain undercover, either in terms of pants or in terms of looking like a 'normal' tourist.
Sssooo do you, like, read through our comments more-or-less purely to make sure you cover your bases but still stick to the script, Neo? 'Cuz that stuff Goldman outlines in the 2nd panel sounds almost a bit like it's directly addressing certain comments wondering if the "challenge" can conceivably be anything... and if you're making these strips many days/weeks/months in advance, then that level of foresight is almost kinda scary, bordering on prescient...
Well, it's and exhibition match; what are the rules? Is there a timeout of sorts? Basically, what I get from the situation is that neither Burk nor Goldman can win by beating the other party so... a timeout or a tie could happen if the rules include them. It could be nice to see Burk wining by letting Goldman exhaust himself.
Maybe Pablo makes an intervention, most certainly the fight will make a ruckus that attacts everyone's attention.
...because Burk promised not to fight.
Now Burk needs to work out how to win in unarmed combat while not fighting. EXHAUST YOUR OPPONENT BY DODGING, BURK! THAT WAY YOU'RE NOT FIGHTING, YOU'RE JUST BEING ATTACKED!
I'm with Darius. Dodges incoming!
Exhibition Match should be no problem for Burk - he loses pants all the time.
@noname Any story that updates daily without missing updates (except for technical reasons) is going to be written in advance, so I feel safe assuming the answer to your question is ânoâ.
PASSIVELY FIGHT HIM, BY NOT FIGHTING HIM, BURK.
Burks going to be unable to fight and be dodging, until pablo arrives and gives him permission to fight back, unless miss fire over there tells him first
@Pablo360 thank you satan
If only Pablo were here to help him figure out a loophole to get around Pablo's instruction.
@noname As a game designer, I can tell you it's not too hard to foresee questions like this - That is the entire job of someone who makes board games, as an example. So it shouldn't be too shocking when I tell you that there's a banner at the top of the page explaining that we're getting pages every day now *because the buffer of pages written in advance reached 300 pages*. I believe our dear author finds your comments quite interesting based on the FAQ, but they probably, largely, cover their own bases.
You know, he said no fighting right? I may need to go back and look at the wording. If you wanna get SUPER technical, sparing isn't so much fighting...as it is sparing.
