Smells like pure spirit.
:) Pure spirit smells like 96% ethanol in my mind. Quite an intoxicating smell.
The whole room looks like an opium den or similar establishment, by the way. I wonder where the painter man gets his ideas... and what dosage he uses.
I wonder whether the sentient door guard painting can shout to wake them if Noah opens the door...
Such an obivious hint :D
Stop making sense Ciel, Noah doesn't like it when he can't snark at people.
@Bisected I think that at least some of it is coming from all of those teens.
I find myself doubting Ciel's claimed origins. Did Noah ever have enough sensibility to create a whole Ciel?
Noah is going above and beyond the call of duty.
He probably shouldn't be doing that for the Empire.
I don't think Malhart is the drug dealing type, imo.
Ciel be like: Goddamn it Noah, do you want to advance the plot of this comic or not?
To be quite honest, if I was Noah, I'd be uncertain if I wanted to advance the plot like this... Scouting is fine, but I'm still fairly certain that these kids are going to get publically executed by the empire as a warning example if he sells them out... and that would make for quiiite a lot of guilt and regret on Noah's part...
I do appreciate that this part is actually pretty long. Plus, we're seeing creative uses of spirit magic.
I am also a little disapointed with Noah, on him being so willing to help the empire that he is actually ready to show personal initiative.
I really dont think he owe someone who would have executed him under other circumstances that degree of loyalty.
Noah is a pure soul. A precious cinnamon bun, too good for this world.
