Uncanny Resemblance.

Detective's got a point, the Aristocrat and the Emperor

How is he holding the sword behind him with his hands on the chin and waist

13389: Scarred Wrable - Friday, July 21 2017 - 12:57 AM

CMON Aristocrat you had like 400 strips to recover from that destiny Storm

Now that we see what level he fights on I am glad he didn't decide to intervene in the prior fights as he would have been massacred

13390: Scarred Wrable - Friday, July 21 2017 - 12:58 AM

Maybe that's why he is so torch and ditzy
He's related to royalty

But then why is he so weak ?

13391: JailedCinder - Friday, July 21 2017 - 1:05 AM

Now. . . maybe it's just because we haven't seen much of the emperor up to this point, or maybe because the emperor personally hasn't stood out to me, but this revelation that the Aristocrat is related to the emperor personally caught me by surprise.

If the possibilities I listed, or perhaps some other possibilities I'm not considering, for why I might not have realized this latest reveal of yours were intentional on your part, I would be quite impressed by your level of forethought and planning.

@ Scarred Wrable: Well, he IS a magic user, and in Justopea that was basically a crime until... the events starting in the Noah arc. Not sure how the three different stories connect on a timeline basis. Anyway, it's entirely possible that, due to his magic, Aristocrat was smuggled out of Justopea and he thus never received any real training in how to properly fight.

Also, I know this is obvious, but Aristocrat is an Aristocrat, and thus there is a decent chance that he's spend a significant amount of his life being spoiled and not training.

well, that revelation blindsided me

13394: Mayhem - Friday, July 21 2017 - 4:43 AM

uhh Hello?!!!! he looks just like the emperor but he has a goatee. he is the evil twin brother.

Burk will agree if you ask him.

@Scarred Wrable

Just because you're in charge doesn't mean you have to be strong.

Think of all the rulers and dictators in history that weren't also physical powerhouses.

And here I thought Guy'd just bonk him on the head and be on his way with the bag...

13397: TachyonCode - Friday, July 21 2017 - 5:56 AM

A smart ruler is weak, and knows how to use willing others' strengths, after all. That's what makes them smart rulers, rather than strong generals.

13398: Nitro - Friday, July 21 2017 - 7:27 AM

Why did i never realized that...

13399: mikato1 - Friday, July 21 2017 - 9:07 AM

well, that'd explain the royal blood the Aristocrat's always going on about. also a lot of why for all that he's been upstaged a lot here, he's still so much better than Jo Blo off the streets in a fight.

it does not, however, give a compelling reason for Guy to not cuff him and bring him along.

Neo, I feel like a walnut: you crack me up.

13401: Whispers of Sorrow - Saturday, July 22 2017 - 12:21 AM

Wait, the Aristocrat and the Emperor are different people?!?! Mind: Blown.

13413: Saiko - Saturday, July 22 2017 - 6:13 PM

Given that the licensed heroes we've seen so far were all jerks, the Aristocrat will fit right in.
