now i wonder what the extremely urgent message was about and if it really was less important than hearing from Von Tinkeln The Reliable.

"...Unfortunately, we now have a Sky-Stroke Hero problem!"

Will he be downgraded to Von Tinkeln the pissbucket holder once it turns out he gave wrong information here?

Did Skystroke keep his word? Maybe he created Evyle and Burk ice statues and Tinkeln believes they are frozen now?
Or did he finish them off for real?

Oh. Oh no. I think I just figured out who came out of the building before Evyle and it is definitely an "Extremely Urgent" problem. Skip to the next comment if you don't want my theory spoiling you.
I believe it was Zardal, who you may remember Evyle interacting with in https://www.neorice.com/hoh_burk_2049.
Worse Zardal's goal was stated in https://www.neorice.com/hoh_burk_2040.

@Taorin - That's one hell of a Chekov's gun, how do you even remember that far back?
43217: Tor - Sunday, August 18 2024 - 1:50 AM
Interesting theory on Zardal.
Though. In https://www.neorice.com/hoh_burk_2048 Evyle states she could not return the body even if she wanted to.
But i do think its a good guess that Skystroke created some ice statues.
Would explain why Tinkeln think its over.

@Tom I vaguely remembered it happening and went back to look it up. Didn't remember the name or that he had a goal until I reviewed the pages he appeared in. It does explain why he disappeared instead of getting involved in the fight, he's got a mission already.
@Tor I don't think missing a body would stop Zardal. Considering what he is and their known regenerative capability plus weird abilities, there's several possibilities of how he's up and about again.

Gotta love how Dolk keeps making a bigger and bigger mess because he just keeps ignoring urgent messages for his own priorities, only to find out that the urgent message was important to those.
Meanwhile, I feel like Shader General here is chalking up Dolk to be more and more of a dunce.
And I’m wretched with names, don’t expect me to remember one that doesn’t appear in the comic today, I can barely recall them if they do.

Quit using weasel words, Von Tinkeln.

As if Dolk isn't is enough problems already, at some time in the possibly not so distant future the result of Piper Pol reporting on the situation in Eddstadt is going to play out, though how long time it takes depends on whether the Iron Judge (or if he escalates it, the Mage King) has access to flying, and whether the official intervention goes via a demand to Heroland HQ to stop their mess or stepping on it themselves.
My theory is that Von Tinkelin’s crew connected the dots on what Evyle’s claim being a bluff actually means for them. The problem is certainly over for THEM, because now it’s no longer THEIR problem. Bet you feel like a real genius for that one, Dolk!

My guess is that Red Silk tracked Zardal (who has been helpfully slain by Evyle to respawn in the thick of things) and may have managed to bind him, but knows she can't hold him long.
