Burke's sense of wonder for fun fights just broke...poor handsome almost naked man.
No surrender yet!

Good news! Burk cured your acid reflux.

It was only his shield. Now he's going to take HP damage.

"lethal force is the only answer to a false surrender"... I guess maybe not when you have a huge advantage.

If you look closely he healed from the first time he got hit, so he'll probably be fine..
37174: Hilden - Friday, June 9 2023 - 1:37 AM
Wait, so no healing powers?
37175: The Someoner - Friday, June 9 2023 - 2:54 AM
He's about to really loose it once he calms down from the first shock.

What i wonder now is how Morty can summon the powers he stole.They're fueled by the spirit of magic-users. Since Morty is an esper, where does come the spirit ? The power-robbed hero ? And in the case of abuse of power, who would suffer from spirit recoil ? Morty or the hero ?
37177: Bogg - Friday, June 9 2023 - 4:55 AM
You spoiled Burk's innocent fun! You MONSTER!
37178: Charter - Friday, June 9 2023 - 5:38 AM
Can you even use Spirit to heal? I don't remember any magical healing off the top of my head, though I'm probably forgetting something.
I guess Pandemonium magic might have something, but healers probably don't need to bother with Heroland contracts to make bank.
37179: Alcemon - Friday, June 9 2023 - 6:25 AM
If Morty keeps this up...it's Burk who will end up surrendering
37180: Franz - Friday, June 9 2023 - 6:26 AM
There goes his underwear...
37181: Saiko - Friday, June 9 2023 - 6:43 AM
I don't know what cracked, but it certainly wasn't his balls.

@Hilden
iirc, healing powers are very rare. Only Aude has shown something like healing, as she can recover from severe injuries extremely quickly.

@Charter
Something I do remember is that you can use spirit to close wounds but not really heal them. The aristocrat used it once I believe

Page 770, Aristocrat healed Ramien with "some kind of magic".

This might be the first fight that Burk tries to hold back and offer surrender.
Heck, the first one to be bored, for sure.

@TheMegax Hope Neorice doesn't mind if I post some exposition from a Patreon exclusive. This is from a scene where Veda tells Garth not to teach Aude combat techniques.
"Mister Garland ... you're a m-magic teacher! You should know that true healing, not simply mi-mi-mitigating w-wounds is not something accessible to ordinary m-magic users."
"In the best case she's a beastman w-with shockingly potent regenerative abilities and an unrivaled skill in looking like an ordinary human ... In the worst case scenario ... she's some sort of anomaly."
