I really wonder what "surprised moustache guy" in the back is so surprised by. What the hell is going on in that left side (our left) just out of panel that is so much more interesting than Burk and the Assistant fighting?

I'm assuming that he doesn't have any ki nd of magic potential, just the powers. That would make him pretty much a glass cannon against anyone, not just Burk, has he not some protective power up his sleeve.

You know how Goldman's Golden Bullets cause a Spirit Separation that knocks out a weaker magic users out cold?
Burk's fists are likely an Esper version of that same thing.
Which is why non-magic users can get up quickly after Burk punches them. But Magic users have to be really strong to withstand it.

@KsCoP I was going to say that Burk probably could tell this guy was pretty weak, but then again he did knock him quite a distance, so it's also possible that Morty can take a hit better than Goldman. Goldman's whole strategy revolved around not getting hit so he might have had a bit of a glass jaw.

Morty gives me a lot of vibes of that one woman from Tobi's story. Kinda wonder if they're related.

@Cromire I don't think Burk is an esper. It's possible, but it seems like he would have had an easier time with the pirate and the stone golem-like guy that may or may not have been a ghoul, if that were the case.

I'm having difficulties recalling when someone tried a surprise attack on Burk. or when Burk showed the smarts to be ready for a surprise attack.
