Damn, Pablo's hands look so big.
36918: Strannik - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 5:30 AM
Thinking about it, as a lot of contracts have been broken, it must be really easy to break them.
Were these breach due to disobey mostly Heroland or mostly the nefarious Vonesperda ?
36919: Tom - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 5:36 AM
Run, Pablo, run!
36920: Joe - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 5:36 AM
I wanna see this guy get good
36921: Diju - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 5:41 AM
What this guy doesn’t realize is that giving a weak person powers doesn’t make them strong. It just gives a weak man with powers.
36922: Hilden - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 5:51 AM
Failed wisdom check for using several powers from other heroes right there in public, though...
36923: Aston Whiteman - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 5:52 AM
....He's a criminal not a bully. Quick, use summon Burke!
36924: Paintr - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 6:06 AM
This sort of power attached to a more long lived character, that's basically the same as the little vampire prince's magic gang.
Though Morty isn't nearly as spooky as that vampire kid. Yet. He may yet become so if those power combos get out of control.
36925: Frozenstep - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 6:21 AM
@Diju
I dunno, I used to think something similar, but honestly, power is power. It doesn't matter if this guy can't make 100% efficient use of each individual power, if he's not as skilled at using them as the owner were. It doesn't mean he can't be strong enough to get past everything Pablo can do and kill him.
But that's not going to happen, because Burk's on the way.
36926: Brilliand - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 6:37 AM
The ability to interrupt someone who's in the middle of calling their attack... that is a rare and terrifying power. :O
36927: Zyzyzyryxy - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 6:47 AM
As predicted before, a few more pages of baddie powers presentation and finally Burk will show up to save Pablo in a battle that will take another 20 or so pages.
36928: Maiker - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 7:39 AM
i wonder if that creepy bug person stopped Burk *exactly* for the reason that Burk won't come to the rescue too early, but after the apprentice completely drowns himself in evidence
36929: Diju - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 7:48 AM
Looking back I realized we never saw the 4th seat. I wonder why that is
36930: Zed - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 8:13 AM
Honestly? This guy & the spirit are not using these contracts correctly at all.
They could easily reassign magical abilities to more competent/compliant foot soldiers via contracts and have a terrifying army. They could have been building up a whole military force without anyone the wiser, one broken contract at a time.
36931: Anthony - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 9:04 AM
20 pages? Such lack of respect, Ariara lasted way more than that.
36932: HexaDoken - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 10:02 AM
@Strannik
Considering that Heroland seems to employ a significant amount of criminals, it doesn't terribly surprise me that a lot of them have trouble following contracts of any kind.
36933: Storm - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 10:53 AM
I wonder what the conditions/limitations of sharing powers like that are?
Maybe only espers can receive powers like that?
Could Burk, if he's actually an esper, be granted all of those powers?
36934: noname - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 11:45 AM
"I don't like to bully people, but it'd be a waste not to with all of these newfound power I have."
36935: TaranAlvein - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 4:21 PM
@Zed - I don't think it works that way. I think he gets the powers explicitly because he made the contracts, and not because they were reassigned to him. Its less a power trust and more a power confiscation.
36936: Datren - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 5:48 PM
Honestly, would be extremely funny if Pablo actually has this, and Burk shows up with the assistant defeated.
36937: mybigbang - Thursday, May 25 2023 - 7:53 PM
this dude saying gosh darn makes me think he sounds like griffin mcelroy
36939: Strannik - Friday, May 26 2023 - 1:16 AM
@Hexadoken,
possible, but that would mean alot, if not most, magic users in heroland controled areas turned to criminal life before joining the Heroland company
