Fun Indeed!

These two have an AMAZING dynamic bouncing off of each other. They are so very different yet, somehow, so very similar... plus, they somehow get along better than Evyle has ever gotten along with anyone else in this whole comic: She doesn't try too hard to figure Burk out, she accepts even the silly answers he provides -- the ones that tend to frustrate those who actually do try to figure him out, and she doesn't seek to explore any hidden depths within him: If she can be an evil villain for the most childish and shallow of reasons imaginable, then she has no issues with Burk being a chaotic hero for similarly shallow and childish reasons.

Also, don't think I do not see you checking out Burk there, Melany. Unfortunately for you, you're checking out the wrong tree: Burk has so far only expressed interest in muscle-bound men.

I read that expression a Burk slightly updating his internal plans to account for this new information.

Hrmm, Evyle has a history of messing with people via contracts. I wonder if she can do anything with a verbal agreement...
