Let's do this!
Apparently he carries that sword-thing only for decorative purposes.
Punches are better anyways.
I must say, the Hero (sorry I won't call it like Ridge's nth wife) look TERRIBLE in slightly-less-cartoonish portrait.
On the ohter hand Burk looks AWESOME.
I think Hero's suit looks fairly awesome in the big art style, though his face looks a bit pale to me :S
I never noticed Burk had a back pack.
Or a belt on his arm. :P
it begins! it was quite the build up
That's one hell of a nose....
Why are those last three panels separate?
@kelax: It likely means a scenery / time change. We got teased by the fight and then - suddenly! - we are back to the village, or some such shenanigans.
My only problem with the "less pixelated" look is that these guys have such a thin pair of legs... You need better than these if you go for realistic. :) But otherwise, cool, all the same!
I can't wait to see more of these hero fights later on, too.
@Random I do use panels like that to signify scene/time changes, however the next page is more of the fight so uh..
I don't remember why I did it. Keep in mind I make these pages months before you guys see them. :)
Neo, what program you use for the blurry effects? It gives a special touch of action to the comic, I like it
I use the photoshop motion blur effect on a copy of the sprite; Then I put 1-2 semi-transparent versions of the sprite on top of the blur to make it look more pixelated still.
Nice! Hell yes!
I liked the special "vs" panel for both of them. The hero's nose looks kinda ugly, though, but that's just nitpicking.
Very cool last panel, too.
Also, what is it with Neo and cool names? Logan Alexander...
That... middle... panel...!
My RPG character is named Logan Alexander too! Although he's way less badass.
