Hm, sounds familiar.
Burk could have told him that.
...if asked a completely unrelated question.
Today has just been going Burks way hasn't it. He got into a fight with a hero, got a favor from another and now he might just finally get a pig mount.
Mighty steeds on parade through the city!
What a massive call back to chapter 1. Thank you neorice for rewarding your readers for paying attention, this is awesome.
Hoooly mother of... _That_ puts Logan's reluctance to fight pig bandits in entirely different light!
Herding pigs in a city like that is odd in any case.
Burk will get his mount yet!
Glad I recently re-read the hilarious first chapter.
Does this have anything to do with why Logan never fought those bandits?
What is it with the animals in 5his world?
First cats then pigs... soon squirrels maybe?
But what about the talking cat?
no cat anywhere ever gave anyone a straight answer- peter. S. Beagle
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this isn't it... And, honestly, I still don't know what to expect from this situation. Like, is even right about this situation or is it just cooky theories? Will Burk get a pig mount now? Where did the pigs come from, where will the pigs go, where will this situation go, Cotton-Eyed Joe?
Logan did fight the bandits at one point, he killed the biggest one of them and the others were reluctant to fight him again. It's just that Logan would only fight them if they killed one of the town folk but not if they were just tormenting them. He could have beat them at anytime but couldn't be bothered to do so.
Pages 53 and 173 for anyone interested.
That is what villagers assumed was the reason. However, there's a possibility that if he'd dispose of bandits without them killing villagers, he'd have to fight a much stronger foe --- malicious bureaucracy of his own organization. He probably did after the first one, and death of one villager was the only way he managed to loophole his way out.
i like your funny words, smoking man
weponized pigs... like the mutated pigs from the first chapter? could explain how three (don't forget there was a third bandit he just got killed for breaking the special rules) random bandits got warg pigs. and yes they where random it wasn't like the town was that rich it was in the sticks and 3 bandits does not make a gang
