Ouch, harsh.
using a diplomat for a hostage isnā€™t going to end well...

Is a room full of Hero land employees really the best place to have a discussion on why you're being investigated? If he has dirt on you he could just yell it and it would be exactly what you asked him to do.

Is Piper able to use magic when restrained like that?
On the one hand, Ariara seems to shutdown the Judge when she takes control of his metal armor and he says he can't move.
But seems unclear if that was because the Judge couldn't move or if, say, Ariara moved his amulet slightly away from his body or otherwise did something to disrupt his ability to call magical power from it.
Presumably Piper shouldn't blow her cover in public, and maybe she'd have trouble directing energy-attacks in the right direction (since her and the Judge usually point), but.. *could* she activate her magic?

I think Piper needs to touch her staff and her staff is inside the instrument case. So, probably no magic for her right now.
But does Goldman really want to be doing this quite so publicly, and for that matter in front of Mini-Cha who will surely relay information to the top?

Yeah, I'm with everyone else. This seems like a really stupid way for Goldman to be doing this.

@Violet. Honestly, while I do like the cut of his jib, I doubt Goldman is altogether up there in the first place.
I mean, what kind of hero needs an entire support team?

Yes, Goldman does seem to have gotten so used to getting his own way that I doubt he realizes he might find it harder when someone actively works against him.
And Burk does not follow your rules man! He practices confusion Fu!

I mean, there is always the possibility that Goldman honestly has no idea why anyone would want to spy on him. It is unlikely, but still a possibility.

Of course Burk is under cover. Even his legs are covered!
