...Well, I'm officially not sure how dehumanizing the "person isn't the word I'd use" is... I mean, it sounds like it is a person we're talking about -- someone who may be legally dead but actually, as it turns out, isn't... but it also sounds a bit like we may be talking about a zombie, or possibly a ghost (which are actually still people in my eyes but I can understand if other people may disagree)...

An interesting twist. Now I suddenly wish for her ex-husband to be Burk for the comedy potential.
Unfortunately, for that to work out she'd probably have had to bring a cat rather than a dog for the stalking to make sense.
