Dinky blades.

Thanks for all the votes, here's the first bonus update!

And so handlebar goes reduced to a toothbrush.

Panel #2 shows once again how mage-savvy this general is.

Unfortunately, it seems like Gilga-er, the pirate of the storm, may be more powerful than that.

Is that nobel observing the fight of is observing the pirate because of his stare im going to say the latter

11010: Bisected - Thursday, November 3 2016 - 8:12 AM

That's not an impressed face.

@Tom

Yeah, the General doesn't seem too bright. For example, he's assuming that she's showing her full power, such that there's no potential for surprises.

However, since we've already seen her free herself from the ruble with her power in #731, Ariana's clearly capable of more than what the General's seeing.

It's possible that the General actually does know exactly who she is and what her powers are, merely feigning ignorance to surprise her. But that seems unlikely, as the General's character seems like the direct sort.

Now she has control over his weapon too?

Swords might not pierce his armor. Electrocution, on the other hand, might be painful as hell.

11015: charliebone - Thursday, November 3 2016 - 5:55 PM

@random

I totally agree. I think the swords are just touching his armor to conduct a current through the poor General.

The general seems to be trained to fight magickers, but his tactics are terrible!

@Storm
I'm pretty sure that freeing herself from the rubble is just Potential, or Spirit.

That "tedious" face.

I'm imagining her introduction being something sung sea shanty style on her boat all the time by her crew; with the line 'that woman' being repeated 2-3 times before she bursts onto the screen screaming 'Me!' allowing everybody going onto the chorus and it is amazing and super appropriate. She's basically got the perfect sea shanty name if it's pronounced Uh-REE-uh-rah. I will literally write a filk if you want me to because more villains in every media type should introduce themselves in song.
