Minor complaint: in the original comic Burk figured out the Mage Baron's influence on the region by himself. Here, well, he had a random peasant girl tell him.
In other words, this Burk seems far less perceptive, which sucks, because it was a really good twist to his character (which seems dumb as a stump).
