It occurs to me that the machine turning on some few pages back probably wasn't actually happening, depending on where this goes.

Okay so who knows if these are prophecies. It does feel like Neo has microwaved us to love our little characters and is now taking them to slaughter

Unclear if vision or hallucination or some third thing.

I really think Shalhia is prone to hallucinations without the current circumstances - I feel like there were little hints of that - and Black Water is not, as far as I am aware, prone to giving true visions of the future. I think it's more likely there's something trying to influence her in that.

Alternatively, she's successfully throwing it off more than Maria is - and she's about to get shot by accident by a hallucinating-and-real Maria.
