Newest asset.
Oh hey, Morty survived his endless abuse being Burk's human shield. Nice. Or not nice if you're not a HUGE MORTY FAN (I should put that banner back up just for the fun of it ... )
Side note: The Patreon side comic reached over 600 pages this week! Wooh for arbitrary round numbers.
Do you have a banner archive somewhere? The Morty banner was certainly a classic.
The fact that Morty cares about Vonney at all at this juncture either indicates that he needs another bonk over the head, or that he had one too many and is horribly concussed atm.
I am not a HUGE MORTY FAN, but I do find it somewhat nice that he managed to survive the abuse of being a human shield. It just means that he can be abused further, without worrying that he will suddenly die to a light breeze.
I believe I speak for everyone when I say we all are HUGE MORTY FANS.
Normal human would be in a world of pain. But Morty isn't a normal human.
Alfen, you can be so damn creepy.
Meanwhile, Mort remains a simp. Can he really be considered an asset if he still simps for a dead spirit?
that guy should be in a hospital
Morty has a surprisingly low mortality.
I wonder, will this make him a stronger Esper? Afair they get their abilities from magic trauma. And there was a lot of trauma, and magic was around.
@Anthony there's a banner AND vote incentive archive in the discord
The man may be a roach, but he shouldn't be mocked just for being in love.
There are so many additional reasons.
@ noname: You forget that Morty was/is a submissive masochist for Vonney. Admittedly, the beating that Burk gave him was far beyond his threshold, and being used as a shield by Burk isn't a part of this thing, but still.
@ Welf: Stronger? Probably not. The specifics of how Esper Powers are awakened & operate haven't really been explored, with the easiest options being that they're related to the trauma, or innate to the individual and accessed through the trauma. The first could create a new Esper Power for Morty, while the second would mean that experiencing Spirit Trauma a second time does nothing.
@Agent_Cook
Indeed. There's so many reasons to mock him, just mocking him for being in love would be unnecessarily reductive.
