Not injured or worse ...

You could at least pretend to be worried, Dolk.

42395: Hmm - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 12:47 AM

Either Guy, rescued the Pablo or Barry and his gang has found Pablo.

42397: Welf - Tuesday, June 25 2024 - 5:57 PM

Well that's not suspicious behavior.

42398: Sporf - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 1:42 AM

And the award for "Least Suspicious Suspicious Thing To Say" goes too...

42400: Eight - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 2:46 AM

Needs work on his facial expressions. Smiling while "Did the diplomat get killed?" and frowning on "Not killed?!" is the wrong way if he wants to hold up his mask. There are no competent villains any more these days. Well, good for us!

42401: Paintr - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 3:02 AM

Did we get a full list of what the various Star ranks are?

42402: Potatopeelerkind - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 3:25 AM

@Hmm Maybe the fashion police apprehended him.

42403: K - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 4:12 AM

I love that the other execs are looking at him in a very “you’e laying it on too thick” moment.

42404: Aui - Tuesday, June 25 2024 - 9:38 PM

Pablo threw diplomatic weapon #1 at Pudu?

42405: Violet - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 4:41 AM

Dolk's colleagues, on the other hand, appear to be deeply concerned by his behaviour.

42406: Zed - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 6:09 AM

@Paintr

Rainbow star hero is explained in patreon comics, I'm unsure it's immensely relevant quite yet but respectable chance we'll see it here in the future.

42407: KsCoPe - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 12:31 AM

@neorice: Dolk IS very worried ;) at least in the last panel.

42408: Kardwill - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 7:41 AM

@K Kaiser12 also appears to think Dolk is laying it a bit too thick. That ellipsis after "No, sir" sounds like someone who knows their boss is doing something incredibly fishy, and ponders if they still want to go with the motion.

42409: Silver - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 10:40 AM

Are we about to see a new diplomatic weapon?

42410: soup - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 10:54 AM

pablo has deployed diplomatic weapon #69 tear-away pants

42412: Saiko - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 11:31 AM

Diplomat has claimed a plot immunity?

42413: Melany - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 11:38 AM

@Violet

They're probably just concerned by Dolk's complete and total lack of subtlety. I'm still seriously expecting Kaiser to just turn the recording of this entire conversation for a review later.

42417: Gobo - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 2:59 PM

SIR, A SECOND BURK HAS HIS TH

42418: The Someoner - Wednesday, June 26 2024 - 11:27 PM

Would be funny if one of pablo's diplomatic weapons turns out to be copious amounts of cash.

42419: Forum Explorer - Thursday, June 27 2024 - 2:44 AM

I think the Hero Drop worked against them here. A hero might have saw the dropping door and rescued Pablo. Whose feet happen to be bound right to the spot where the door is about to hit.

And now Pablo is accusing them of trying to kill him, and basically has evidence that it happened.

Alternatively, relatedly, that Ice Queen hero might have saved him. She could have gotten her powers back by now.

42420: Aston Whiteman - Thursday, June 27 2024 - 3:13 AM

And then Ciel the demi-goddess nightmare demon appears. Oh hi Noah!

Or we see an esper or a released ghoul with a reborn body attack.

Chaos, chaos everywhere!

42422: Zet - Thursday, June 27 2024 - 12:20 AM

Either a diplomatic or one of the true heroes intervened I guess. For the diplomatic weapon, maybe Pablo had something to deflect the falling object and guide it onto Pudu or the shader? That would be funny.

42423: Illyia - Thursday, June 27 2024 - 2:42 AM

Diplomatic tool - Anti Stick spray. For those times you need to avoid an embarrasing bit of food

42424: Sporf - Thursday, June 27 2024 - 9:44 AM

@The Someoner Actually, I think he has used that one already, though I don't remember when. If he has used it, he probably doesn't have enough cash to buy his safety from Pudu anymore.

42425: tailiu - Thursday, June 27 2024 - 3:20 AM

@soup: Yeah, that's my guess. Would be a cool callback to Burk's pantless days. Alternatives include those three heroes saving him. Or the Queen.

42426: Melany - Thursday, June 27 2024 - 10:28 AM

@The Someoner

Cash is literally the diplomatic weapon #1. Pretty sure it's the first we've seen, too.
