You know? Very reasonable. I already questioned Zelmeyer's actual teaching ability but him going into experiments with several young and not fully trained children is definitely not a great practice.

I mean, considering all the unsafe sorta stuff we, irl, have done with mercury alone... yeah, I honestly cannot quite blame Theobold... But I also cannot completely blame Zelmeyer, either. Sure, he seems largely apathetic in regards to the well-being of other human beings, but he was also studying a subject that no-one really understood, so he probably did not expect things to go as pear-shaped as they did, and with magic being as dangerous as it is, he was right that a better understanding of it was very much needed...

@noname The problem with Zelmeyer is that he risks the lives of children. His crew should have consisted of people like Theobald and Artemius, and maybe Valiant and Akriad as assistants, this would have went different.

If his goal was he wanted to do all this research than he should never have been training the children to begin with. He shouldn't be taking in children and acting like he's there to teach them how to use their powers if he just wants to experiment.
