Good on Purpermane. Helicopter parenting can be so damaging, and recognizing when a kid needs more to grow better is important.

Letting single kids socialize with other kids of their age is a very good parenting move. I assume there wasn't any kindergarten or primary school around anyway, so this is the closest thing to it both in a social and an educational point of view.
