Chapter 3
So it's finally time for chapter 3!
I actually know it can be kinda off-putting to suddenly get into a new chapter after a cliffhanger like friday's, so to ease your pain:
Starting next monday, for the next 2 weeks I'll upload a page every day of the week, including weekends.
I hope you guys look forward to it!
Hrm... Let's see... A new chapter with a new - and likely exciting - main character started off with 14 pages over the course of two weeks...
I'm sorry Neo, but you have failed to off-put me - quite the opposite in fact.
Although, that enticing, unresolved cliffhanger of a chapter end was notably appeased on my part by you having said that you had something special in mind for this coming up week for while now. So... yeah.
First you doubled the length of the pages, now you're doubling the update rate, even temporarily...
That's an X4 multiplier! You're a madman!
the Dungeon of DOOM!!! no?
Yo, duude! Take care not to blow a fuse! :D
But this is certainly nice! Can't wait to see the new characters. :)
I do hope the latest two chapters unite in a main narrative line, even if Burk only gets some cameos :D
more pages! yaaaay!
Nice intro page! They look like an adventuring party.
@Neo: Any idea how many chapters are planned?
I hope the new people on the chapter cover are involved in the story, they look amazing.
@Steven
After chapter 3 I'm changing up the format a lot, I just wanted to give each protagonist a solid introduction of +-100 pages to give readers a feel for them.
But in terms of story/comic content I've got several years of story planned.
*Like*
"Off-putting?" Where do you get such strange assumptions? ;P
:O
14 updates easily makes up for cliffhanger
:O
Thanks Neo, just care not to release too many comics! Otherwise your buffer gunna die!
@Neoriceisgood:
Would you believe I actually like cliffhangers? Remaining in suspense is a good means of maintaining interest - And I am quite interested in HOH already. :~P
I am looking forward to seeing your next chapter. Dungeons and adventuring parties are a nice touch. <3
Yaay, 14 updates in 14 days, that is cool!
@Pirate-Rob
My buffer's currently at 167. Even after these two weeks I'll still be over 150 pages even if I don't produce any new ones. :p
Was a bit confused as to the "where is he (you) going with these chapters and all these "heroes" - thanks for the explanation (perhaps make it more prominently on the main page for new readers, too?)
How many more Chapters (a.k.a Heroes) would your group get to have a main arc with all of them in there?
@Neoriceisgood that's amazing... You've got me as a viewer, then.
Will the new format be a change in drawing style or just a story-telling / organising change?
I mean, I really like the drawing style. :)
@addyk2003
The art style will stay completely the same, the major change is honestly just in chapter length/formatting.
The opening chapters are more meant to give each character an entire story arc to get people familiar with them (resthill, the elven attack)
While future chapters are more like you'd expect a regular chapter to be (10-15 pages of a character, then 10-15 pages of the next one.)
Yay! That's 40% more comic! =3
Actually, I would have to say that this was really good planning for a cliffhanger. It is a cliffhanger in the sense that there is more to be desired and also a natural transition in the sense that we just finished something. To be honest, this will make Noah all the more interesting when we come back to him later (instead of getting a sense of dread from the current ark that we were on being over).
Keep up the amazing work Neo!
TOBI, YES! Ive been waiting to get back to Tobi, it was so fun before, so Tobi's arc will probably be even better this time!
That moment when you clicked on the 'Noah' tab on another device to shortcut to the chapter you were on and didn't realize you missed an entire MAIN CHARACTER'S SECTION.
At least I won't be as anxious of the cliffhanger last chapter, ya monster.
