I'm sure she seriously lowers his chances just to get him going, in reality it would be like 2 or 3 percent. Multiply it by the plot shield factor and you have nothing to worry about.

It really shouldn't be difficult given that Widows Radar is a magic user, why won't he use his powers to defend himself? Or to hide, or to run, or to do anything that doesn't involve giving up and waiting for death?
And he keeps making the same stupid mistake of ignoring Ciel until it's already too late.
Why is he like this?
The good news is that given that these thingies are flesh and blood, it should be possible to Ciel to manifest in a similar fashion.
