Don't even bother.

Depigged.

there's the esper.

27388: Penguin - Monday, September 6 2021 - 10:36 PM

We get it; she's both overpowered and a complete unlikable b*tch, get on with it.

27389: Tom - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 12:55 AM

Looks like the body is the hands of higher-ups. The worst news.

And she's got powerful magic. And a creepy minion. It keeps getting better and better.

27390: Woodledude - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 3:10 AM

I kinda love that to perform that action, Evyle uses her SEVERED limb. Like, the limb is still there, almost, just "psychically", and allows her to manipulate... Stuff, like a regular hand manipulates regular things.

You know what I mean. It's friggin' cool, and I love the character design going on here.

@Tom
Or she simply destroyed it, so there's nothing to give back.

Though this looks more like re-pigged. Dehogged, maybe.

27392: Violet - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 5:15 AM

So she's powerful, but she's not actually involved with the bandit conspiracy. Probably.

27393: Paintr - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 7:06 AM

It's a bit quick to call Evyle overpowered as we don't really know what she's doing and how.
The only really overpowered guys I remember are the Golem gang who beat up Ariara, what with their immortality and strength.
I suppose you could also add Sunny to that list and everyone above him on the most wanted list, but we don't know what secret limits some characters may have.

27394: Illyia - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 9:25 AM

Hardly overpowered even the so called weakest hero in this city could beatthe pigs only needing some steroids.

What we're starting to see is the huge power gap between regular people, people with magic/spirit and untrained, magic/spirit partially trained, natural strong magic and trained, then finally Burk.

27395: UnknownID - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 10:56 AM

So her power also contains debuffing pigs :D

27396: Saiko - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 1:10 PM

The ghoul has called the piggy, or it was just a stray which happened to wander by?

27397: Potatopeelerkind - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 3:35 PM

@Illyia Think they might have been referring to her 'squashing' the ghoul. The paladin is supposedly pretty powerful but she was afraid to confront ghouls.

27399: Sporf - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 4:29 PM

I'm guessing it's not so much about power than it is about specific counters and perhaps knowing more about the ghouls than the Paladin.

27400: Paintr - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 6:18 PM

It's sort of hard to gauge. Would the iron judge easily beat Deltif? Would Katz have a hard time versus infinite? One of the good parts of this story is how nonlinear the powerscale is. There's very clearly some type matchup going on.

27401: MatthewTheLucky - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 6:55 PM

She seems like an anti-mage to me- effective against supernatural creatures, probably a match for magic users like Heroes, liable to get one-shot by Burk.

27402: Mhm - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 11:18 PM

It's probably just information being withheld for suspense, but it is kinda funny how we've been told Ghouls are incredibly powerful and dangerous, yet every time we see them they're either being harmless or, in this case, completely defeated.

27403: someone - Tuesday, September 7 2021 - 11:28 PM

@Potatopeeler: To be fair, the paladin was reluctant to confront an entire ghoul party; while we have no indication that Zardal was in a group when Evyle squashed him.
