Impressive Noah moment.

"How dare you, child who I was just berating for being far too inquisitive and thoughtful minutes ago. You are supposed to show interest when they're ME things!"

Noah is not a fun person to hang out with.

This "no" was satisfying, but it also was kind of a dumb move. She've litterally got the power of life or death over Noah, at the very least he should be careful not to annoy her too much.

Moreover knowing what she wants would help to understand her objectives, and how to placate her.

Tbh, I'm kinda hoping Noah's attitude gets him in proper trouble at some point :P

Plot twist: Veda is into tsundere characters and Noah is perfect for that unconsciously.

Honestly? I can sympathize with Noah right now: Someone has forced him into an uncomfortable set of clothes, they're dragging him along to a meeting he probably doesn't want to attend, he's being asked rather personal questions... all in all, I would probably be a piece of shit if I was in his clothes right now, too...

As rude as it might be, given what we've learned of the Empire, it's probably not in Noah's best interest to share his inner thoughts, even with someone who's trying to paint themselves as a trustworthy confidant...
