@Brilliand: I doubt that would have helped in this case.
@TheMegax: Catz is a free mage, a spell may have been developed for this very scenario. On reflection, it'd be surprising if Catz *hadn't* developed specific anti-Jam spells, along with counters for other known powers among the defending magic sprogs. And Mr Kimberly of course.
