You can still make that upright standing cat in panel 5 of the last comic, who can speak English, plot relevant. You just need to make them a shapeshifter or using a magical disguise of some sort.

That's actually an error lol, it should still be gone.
Gotta fix that at one point but I'm sick and exhausted.

Pablo... one day you'll learn that, sometimes, just sometimes, you have to take Burk seriously and listen to him... Today is clearly not that day.
Anyway, I'm guessing Burk actually did interrogate the talking cat and we're not going to learn what it told him until much, much later.
