Burk VS Bandit #2 (With surprise guest!)
Man, sorry for not updating a lot this week guys, but I really had some trouble figuring out how to handle this page, hope it's worth the wait!
I tried experimenting a bit with different things I can/could/should do for action pages, as they're one of the few very uncomfortable zones I have left, but I think there's some fun things in this one.
Either way, hope you guys like the update! I'll see if I can get another one done soon! :)

Moe just beat Burk hopping on one foot. Awesome.

Getting interrupted by Moe was quite unexpected. Maybe we get to see what he can do? :3
My criticism for this action scene is thus: I like it. The special effects + sound effects are colorful and artistic, very cool. The 4 panels showing colorful attacks by themselves (4 to 7) are a nice touch which deviates from the expected pattern, I liked that too.
On the other hand, some of the sound effects are too big for the action at hand (like when Burk attacks on panel 3), and obscure the action a bit.
Lastly, Moe's special kick-effect looks flashy, but it looks weird for kicking someone (unless it's a magical-based kick, in which case, awesome).
Anyhoo, awesome update. I wonder how this combat will turn out...

Burk just got *OWNED*! ... this is a first. What the hell is this Moe the Shifter guy?
Tom: It's Moe the Shifter. Given the strong purple tint, and that I don't think you CAN *OWN* Burk without magic... And I agree that the update is awesome.
Come to think of it, how the heck did Burk's pants NOT get knocked off? I mean, he's had them for almost an entire page now.
Neo: You're very good. Bring some of this back to Frogatto sometime, 'k?

I don't know if you guys noticed, but Bandit does have a mask on still. It's just a little harder to see. He's got a black outline all around his eyes.

Hahah that's not a mask, it's a souvenir left from being stomped by a cow. (it's kinda hard to really show on such a small sprite, hahah)

The last panel is a bit tricky to read! I wasn't sure if burk was escaping or being kicked or what, at first.
While this strip is great (as is every other one, as well), I'd have to agree with Metacurious there. I think it's because the eye is drawn towards Burk first, before moving over to Moe. That might be happening because the gradient of Burk flying away brightens as it travels left; it could also be because English readers usually start on the left side of a panel.

Wait a minute... Moe the <i>Shifter</i>?
As in... dimensional shifting? Kind of like what Noah does? Hmm.
It could also mean shapeshifter, or something else entirely... I just thought it was an idea worth mentioning.

I really doubt that's he got the "Noah's Shifting", I would bet in the "shape" shifting theory.

I haven't forgot about the weird prisioner with cool boots, for an moment I really imagined that he was the Mage Baron himself, but there's no logical reason to be him...yet... xD, I want to see what the hell this guy was waiting for : p
Well, "Here comes a new challenger" xD, and more challengers are coming since Ariara's crew is going for the armory also : p

He was totally kicked, but this weird shield of him protected him somewhat, cuz he have the Burk Senses :3
