Assistance.

Oh hello

She's the strongest in her particular field. Since i don't think physical altercations really would help resolving the situation much, i'd say she's far from the greatest threat, however.

He's gotten edgy since that photo was taken.

These guys take their intel apparently from the protagonists' talks, which were misleading (though unintentionally). Alex is probably their best offensive mage, but I say that some of the others are certainly better suited for... underhanded solutions.

I wonder if Gaston and Jamel can take those 3. Letā€™s all agree that Noah will either do very little or nothing at all.

@Drew: If it comes to fighting? I could easily see* him disappearing entirely.

*figurative.

After seeing his crew, Malhart is starting to strike me as similar to Fagin from Oliver Twist...

Tough choice:

1)Meet the old man, which may help you with your objective.

2)"Fight": If you win, you make take the kids back to the government which may or may not help with getting the old man. And if you lose, you are a loser with a worse choice 1).

I for one, don't care about what they do, I just want Noah going inside Dzjameell.

Well the problem is, that i think Alex is the only one with something that even looks like basic combat training.

Gaston has been taught to use spirit yes. But not to fight or to hurt a fellow human being.

The only way this really makes sense is if they are bait.

Because really, the only way Malhart would not be a better deal for them would be if he ate magic kids to preserve his life.

Is that Marie Kanker???

Gaston was said to excel in melee fighting class, I remember him even trying to take Noah to dojo. But he is just a physical fighter with enchantments, not offensive caster like Alex. Also, he doesn't seem to have a sword, a gas-pipe, or any other favourite weapon with him.

@Tor
Well Gaston did receive Martial art training of sine sort, (we were told after the elf attack) and he did contribute in the elf fight.
He may have more combat experience then we know ;)
Thatā€™s all I know. Or all I think I know.

19499: Durnil - Sunday, March 24 2019 - 6:59 AM

@Tor remember, Gaston was top of his class in swordplay and using spirit could easily smash a rock. I think heā€™s a far more dangerous threat than you give him credit for.

19500: Guest - Sunday, March 24 2019 - 1:56 PM

@Durnil:
I think that Tor's point was more that Gazz, while possessing the physical ability, would lack the mental ability to break bones and crush skulls. I recall the rock-smashing incident may have been somewhat traumatic, which would actually count against his eagerness to murder, and demonstrates a lack of fine control over his abilities with which to subdue a magical opponent somewhat safely.

The mind is, in some ways, one of the least flexible parts of the body. If one lacks the will, then they do not possess the way.
