A wave of neutrality.

#centrism

Well ... Tobi, let them know that if Infinite wants to talk to you/get on better terms, they should vote green. Or else there will be ZERO discussions.

He's sort of right in this situation :P

I don't think that's what centrism means in the slightest

Paladin is getting ahead of herself.

It's quite possible Infinite's votes are completely irrelevant at this point.

Tobi has already made her displeasure at the neutral vote shown. The relevant thing here is then if Infinite actually care about that, or just plan to kidnab Tobi.

I do continue to like the paladin though. One of the so far few decent people in this game.

If abstaining means that the vote won't count, the green hearts already have a majority (5/9).

Also with two red votes to go and two red skulls against five green hearts, it's impossible for the kill vote to equal the spare votes.

That guy in the locked-belt costume is so laid-back! Is he ever surprised by anything?

@Some guy, someone Well, I'd interpret paladin's 'deciding' as 'final'. Since as far as we know Mr.:) counts all votes equal or life and death equal, but neutral as half a death. Besides, Paladin has no likeness on gangs.

Now, EVEN IF this is just as good as a test vote where the 'Extra Contestant' just lives whatever the outcome, our victim knows nothing, in theory she might as well be dead. Mr.∞ could seize this opportunity to diplomatically (unlike, you know, that b*tard Levin) bargain with her.

The paladin weeps for morality

Has anyone put forward the idea that if someone ends up "on trial", the last vote they cast is automatically added to the tally? Might discourage voting for death. It could even be a running tally of all your votes, so the later into the game it gets, the more dangerous it is to have voted for death (especially if characters get killed).

This'll lead to infinite possibilities.

18553: Some guy - Saturday, October 27 2018 - 2:35 AM

Deciding means deciding, not last.

In fact, if vote weight is sufficiently unbalanced, the deciding vote could even be the first one cast.

For that matter, what if vote weight is tied to current player value? Then only Tobi matters, and what anybody else does is completely irrelevant.

"Meh" gangster is awesome.

I've played a lot of Mafia(AKA Town of Salem) and votes are always so interesting. The abstains could obviously be evils wanting to kill her for profit, but not wanting to take the blame guilty voters would get. Even an innocent voter could just be waiting for the right moment to stab someone in the back...

Also the Infinite's I'm betting vote inno or abstain. You don't lead an organization(even if its a criminal organization) by throwing away free goodwill, and the girl on trial is not a very big threat.

Can we have Levin on trial next? I would love to see how people vote on that.

If Lord Infinite is in the mood for experimentation, "would six green votes suffice to save her" seems worth testing. I do hope he spares her.

He'll likely want to ask his questions first eitherway.

@Some guy You are right, I didn't mean to imply your comment was wrong, she is sure getting ahead of herself.

I just wanted to point out that her concern is reasonable (for her), we can't assume anything about Pigtail's safety yet, there are day-to-day voting systems that don't just work follow the simple majority requirement; being 'quite-likely-alive' is not enough, the other contestants are beign lax and maybe increasing the chance of death winning. They should vote life, not beign noncomittal just because they seem to be winning the vote. Not choosing means letting others (like infinite) choose for you, decide.
(Just because there is a chance, a possible world where Shackles and Gangster voting neutral meant Infinite deciding the fate of Pigtails.)
