Infinite innocents.

Seems fair.

I'm with Three. *random static noises*

if you swapped out an apple for an orange in the suitcase, I wonder if the total would stay the same

Wait, can you pull fruit out of the suitcases because if so then it means somebody has an orange on then. My bet is on the cop.

The key information that the players know (if they've been paying attention) but we don't is: What number of each fruit is *meant* to have been traded so far?
If it's 139 (or more) then I guess we have a case of someone on Team Orange taking an orange for their individual score, after the point at which the others check their number.
If it's 138 (or less) then instead we have a case of someone on Team Orange giving away an extra apple, probably in return for a non-fruit item (maybe the medicine that we know someone needs, maybe just something they think will help later in the game). Though I suppose it could just be in return for oranges that were transferred by the chip physically being in the briefcase without being properly slotted.

Or there could be something more complicated, perhaps involving the neutral players. But Smile should be careful with tricks like that, as even though the game promotes deception and betrayal, the willingness of the players to go along with it still depends on them believing what they're told about the rules.

Perhaps the cop...agrees with Infinite!

Either the cop did something, or the Neutral players are having a role there as well.

I think three raises a very good point here.

The only way to cheat, given the circumstances, would be for a player to have some magic power.

Even something as mundane as "make a digital number look different" would do the trick.

23441: Ecthe - Wednesday, September 16 2020 - 11:38 AM

3 vendors per round, first round was 1 fruit each, the 9 other rounds where 5 fruits each.
3+(9*(5*3) = 138

The number of oranges is correct, but the "kill" team got one extra apple

23442: Ecthe - Wednesday, September 16 2020 - 11:42 AM

By the way, does "adjusting your monocle" count as "raising one of your hands up" ?

23443: Taran Alvein - Wednesday, September 16 2020 - 2:15 PM

@Tom - Not at all. We know the briefcases show a number for each fruit, but nobody said it had to all be the same fruit. As Mystik implied before, somebody probably took an extra apple with them and, before returning to the common area, swapped it for one of their oranges. It would be a simple crime.

Tobi is right. The cop should be more observant, especially in regard to Infinite.
