Noah reminds me of Eustace sometimes, except less mean spirited and the protagonist. Monsters bearing down on you? Nope, not gettin' out of me chair/moving above slow walking pace.

I've honestly been wondering why Noah looked like he was walking so strange, i thought it was just me but nope, boys taking his time during a magic cat siege.

Yeah, Noah really doesn't seem to have any sense of urgency in the face of danger. Honestly, he seemed to have been shuffling more slowly than normal if anything.
Why is he like this? Even unfit and unhealthy teens can run if they have to and it's not like Noah is crippled. Is physical effort against his religion or something?
