The Judge's cage.

Correct you are, Guy! It could be worse.

That's an awesome power. Liking Da Judge more and more.

I think that's the first orange magic speech bubble. Also, The flaming hand flying through the air is a nice touch.

It seems likt the mage baron isn't the only magic user ;D
I'm wondering what Burk is up to :)

Second-to-last panel, second L in "You WILL remain here" missing ;)

i feel like that gold statue of the mage baron might actually BE the mage baron and its one of those "greedy-magic-user-tried-something-but-it-backfired"

9868: Storm - Friday, July 29 2016 - 12:08 PM

Huh, looks like there's a "magical fire" mechanic in this world, much like in D&D-type games. Otherwise those prisoners would be choking.

9869: Saiko - Friday, July 29 2016 - 1:29 PM

Maybe this is a cold fire.

9870: Reginald - Friday, July 29 2016 - 5:52 PM

@Storm I believe that the fire is relatively benign as it is not truly combusting anything. As it uses no fuel other than pure magic, it generates no carbon dioxide and requires no oxygen. In other words, it is scientifically sound, accepting magic. So, hats off to Neorice. Well done.

P.S. Apologies for the outburst of SCIENCE!

This does seem like rather a good opportunity to establish how magic-fire works. Convection, radiant heat, oxygen consumption... One would at least expect the floor underneath it to be scorched, but will it combust?
