4244: pkrcel - Friday, March 21 2014 - 12:01 AM

uh-oh, I guess now Burk will be upset.

mh...also maybe not.

4245: Pirate-rob - Friday, March 21 2014 - 2:53 AM

Here it comes! Battle time!

4246: Tom - Friday, March 21 2014 - 3:00 AM

That was awesome.

Whatever it was.

A magic electrical disc?

4247: someone - Friday, March 21 2014 - 3:21 AM

Guard crispies.

4248: giovanni - Friday, March 21 2014 - 3:49 AM

boss battle time!

4249: Bisected8 - Friday, March 21 2014 - 3:49 AM

What shocking behaviour.

4250: re_curly - Friday, March 21 2014 - 6:47 AM

Seems to me like he's the Hero of Being an Assbutt.

@pkrcel
About your comment from the last page:
Why would he need her manual, though? Seems to me that Burk was the only abnormality, and the Hero was holding the book way before the Burk issue was mentioned.

4251: Bailoroc - Friday, March 21 2014 - 7:03 AM

By "hero", we only mean in the nominal sense...

Also, I didn't expect him to be able to use magic, what with that buff body of his. Healthy mind, healthy body, right?

4252: Fandumb - Friday, March 21 2014 - 7:57 AM

Kellogs Neorice Krispies!

4253: William - Friday, March 21 2014 - 8:30 AM

@Bisected8
I am stunned by your comment.

4254: phyrex - Friday, March 21 2014 - 8:59 AM

Pfft. Only /three/ lightbulbs? Burk has this handled.

Also, are these guards or Rice Crispies? Snap Crackle Shock indeed.

I think the effects would look nicer as pure pixel art, Im not crazy about the gratuitous blur effects.
Please note that this refers to all pages not just this one before you bring up the fact that the effect is only used once on this page.

HooOOOooOoooOOOOOOLY CRAAAAAP that last panel is AWESOME!! The magic, and the hero's sprite, are totally tubular. But please tell me our hapless guard friends will just be put out of action a bit and not permanently hurt!!! Ugh I'm just in love with the hero's design. Hope we're getting a name soon?

4258: Tom - Saturday, March 22 2014 - 3:47 AM

It just occurred to me that the hero is both unarmored AND unarmed.

As in, the shadowy version we saw of him in previous pages had him wearing some armor and a yellow sword/club/something.

So he's pretty dangerous already even without his stuff :o

4259: Luminous Lead - Saturday, March 22 2014 - 11:14 AM

True heros don't wait, huh?

"If a man has you entirely at his mercy, then hope like hell that man is an evil man. [...] They'll watch you squirm. They'll put off the moment of murder like another man will put off a good cigar. [...] A good man will kill you with hardly a word." - Terry Pratchet, Men at Arms

4260: pkrcel - Saturday, March 22 2014 - 4:28 PM

@curly

Well, that was actually an half-ass punch, I was not entirely serious.

But basically I meant he didn't set-up Wucha correctly

I didn't even notice that effects were not pixeled....

4261: Inlaa - Sunday, March 23 2014 - 8:23 PM

I'm still rooting for Daryll over here. GO DARYLL, GO!

4985: Outlaw - Monday, August 11 2014 - 8:05 AM

Daaaang, that escalated fast!
Get him, Burk!

Look's like Burk made his Reflex save! Everyone else, you take 8d6 damage...

Oh, you're all dead? sorry :/
